The Profiteer by Evan Asher

This was such a refreshing read, a romantic tender novel penned by a male author.
This was a revelation, that pulled me in very quickly, as I read this over two days.
Kelly is an enterprising, hardworking shop owner, who is faced with the reality that, you should never judge a book by it's cover.
She gets a bumpy ride as revelations reveal that all is not as it seems to be in her home town of Cedar Grove.
An enchanting contemporary romance story.

Tsunami: A Love Story by H Berkeley Rourke

Tsunami, A Love Story is a very timely story of love and loss involving the tragedy of gun law.

This was interesting to read for me, as in the UK we rarely see anything of this ilk, it is a rarity.
It tells of a confrontation between the main protagonist, Whit Moreland, and the unfolding story of the aftermath as his home is broken into, and as he defends his property with deadly consequences.

Despite the love he shares with Kathleen Jamieson, the sequence of events that follow this confrontation which are far reaching.

This story has depth and insight, bringing to light a somewhat flawed judicial system, and also the two sides of the heated debate that continues today over gun ownership.

An absorbing tale, and a well deserved 5 stars also.

The Only One by J.F. Holland

The Only One was a pleasure to read.

This traces the beginning of a relationship between a handsome, enigmatic boss, and someone in his employment. The two individual protagonists being Kitty and Blake. The story describes their journey, both good and bad, with suspense and anticipation.

Does she get the guy? Does he get the girl? No spoilers here I'm afraid. You will have to read the book top find that out I hate spoilers.

As a debut author I found JF Holland's writing believable with characters of depth and believability. Some lovely erotic scenes are included as a bonus.
Loved it and can't wait to read the next book in the series. Although, this book is a stand-alone novel in it's own right too

The Ties That Bind by C.P. Mandara
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have followed this Pony Girl series avidly from the very first one and loved it, but this is the best by far.

This tale is so twisted and convoluted, that I can honestly say you will have no clue what will cum next, ( sorry about the pun.)

I suggest that you start with the first book in the series, then move through them in order.

With some of the kinkiest and most erotic writing I have read. Miss Mandara is truly becoming one of the Queens of kinky writing.

The ending is a shock, and an amazing cliff hanger to boot.

Write faster Ms Mandara, can't wait to read the next panty- wetting instalment
