A
very late starter to writing although reading is and always has been
a passion of mine.
Writing
a book never crossed my mind until being forced to give up work
because of a long term illness. I started
spending so much time
reading that ideas started to grow in my mind for a story of my own,
Rising Up developed.
I
live quietly in the beautiful South Lincolnshire countryside with my
gorgeous husband, who is my biggest fan and
provides me with masses
of support, and my dog a deeply dippy Dogue de Bordeaux who keeps me
amused with
her antics.

I thought leaving the US the first time was hard, it was nothing

I still live in the small town in Manchester, UK, where I was born at home on January 10th 1968. I was raised and attended school here. Now a wife and mother, I live with my husband and 6 children, and a small menagerie of animals.
I've always loved the underdog, the fighter. But let's face it, we all want to believe in a happily ever after. As a huge fan of books (book nerd is the endearing term, my children use). I have an immense romance collection which also includes paranormal romance. If I'm not writing, I've got my head stuck in a good book.
You can't beat reading, watching the plot and characters come to life in your imagination. It's so much better than television. When I was younger, I tended to re-write books and fairy-tales where I wasn't completely happy with the ending. It confused the hell out of my children once they learned to read. None of the books matched the stories I'd read them growing up.
I had a varied career including Admin, Customer Service, and Teaching unemployed adults IT and customer service skills. Well, until I became ill a few years ago. I'm now at home full time, classed as disabled (neuro fog can make life, and writing fun sometimes). So instead of feeling sorry for myself I decided to do something I'd always wanted to do and loved with my life. I began to write my own stories (as I'd done as a child) and as well as keeping my mind active it's fun too. I'm now ready to share them and happy to receive feedback about my books (stories).

This is the first book that I have read by Bella, I was intrigued from the title and the blurb.
Summer has left a life behind that was full of abuse, and is hiding away from an ex that treated her disgustingly.
Finding work at Collar and Cuffs, a restaurant that has more than you would ever imagine. She finds herself a home within this place and love as well.
This read is a fast paced read, and in some places it will have you hooked where you are wanting to know the outcome.
A read full of dominant men, where it makes you want one of your own.
Overall it was a very intriguing, eye opening read.

Summer is trying move on from her life of her abusive ex, finding a job at Coller and Cuffs was one of the best things for her, working at the restaurant feels like home, but the restaurant isn't your typical restaurant. In Bella’s world all the heroes are gorgeous hunks and the heroines are always beautiful. Having said that, she firmly believes that ‘handsome is as handsome does’ and that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’. (She is also a big fan of clichés as well as alliteration!)

The fourth book in this series, Ménage at the Mode Boutique is now also available in digital format. She is currently writing another Cowboy series, Midnight in Montana (Siren Publishing), the first of which, Dallas at Midnight, is already available, while the second book, Meet Me at Midnight, is due for publication in June 2016.
Her writing career began, however, in the fantasy/myth genre, with her first series Sirens and Sailors (Siren Publishing). Although this was a series of six novels, it actually started out as a short story! This was a delight to write and was proof positive that her High School Classical Studies lessons weren’t entirely wasted.

Not everyone is perfect – but it’s the character flaws which make them interesting, she believes. Bella is currently fighting her own battle against breast cancer – a battle which she is determined to win – and believes that all women have the right to feel sexy even when they are battle-scarred.
