Chapter 1

It was only two weeks until Christmas and I was at a party, at the BDSM club Substation, with my new Dom, Charles. But I was feeling down.
We had been seeing each other for a couple of months, now, and I was uneasy about our relationship. Initially, it had worked well, as he appeared to be very considerate, and we sort of gelled after playing at a local munch.
I was “under consideration”, as it is worded in the world of BDSM and the Lifestyle. This meant that we weren’t committed to each other, yet, and I wasn’t technically collared. I did wear a collar when we played, or visited a club or munch, but there was no padlock, or key to it.

Charles’ looks belied his nature, as he was baby-faced; some would say, almost pretty, with dark brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, and clean shaven. Dimples appeared when he smiled. No blemishes, or pock marks marred his smooth complexion, and he sported a natural-looking golden tan, all year around..................................

I glanced up, and stood near the bar was a dour faced man. Handsome but in an understated way.

I so loved this book. I truly believe this is going to be a great series.

I loved Suzie’s character. Here she was seeking something she craved. She truly wanted a 24/7 Dom and Sub relationship. Problem was she had a bad chose in Doms. Let me tell you Charles is a nightmare.

Simon was this sexy Dom. He was Suzie’s rescuer or savior however you wanted to look at it. I would of thought meeting at a BDSM club were others were around would be safe, but not the case for Suzie. There is no telling what would of happened if Simon was not there.

I loved the chemistry between Suzie and Simon then to bring Simon’s brother Alistair in the mix, wow truly hot. It was like the chemistry intensified.

I love how caring and understanding Simon and Alistair were. They knew Suzie was nervous and had been through a bad ordeal. They made her feel loved, safe, and carried for. They showed that being a Dom was more then BDSM play and I think the author done a great job bring that out.

Suzie will find herself in some serious danger and this is were the story becomes more of a dark romance. She will have to find her inward strength to get through what happens. Your heart will truly break for her. I can not imagine the fear she felt. She will also have to rely on her friend, family, and the two men she just started to get to know to help her. Can Simon and Alistair get to her in time?

I loved Simon, Alistair, and Suzie’s story. I truly hope this is not the last we hear of these three. I feel their story has only just started. I am not certain where the author will go in this series but I hope she continues with Simon, Alistair, and Suzie’s story.

Loved this dark romance read. This is a gripping thriller with a number of twists and although there will evidently be further books, this was also a standalone without a cliff hanger.
I loved the characters Suzie, Simon and Alistair and how they interacted. A realistic tale of BDSM and the Lifestyle. Lot of HOT steamy scenes too.
The pace of the book made it such an easy read and I read it in one sitting. A dark, yet compelling read.
Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
